Posing for photos is often scary to a lot of people… I get it … Posing for portraits brings back memories of standing in line for your yearly school pictures. Everyone was nervous about looking good and even more nervous about your friends watching you.
Most people have just a handful of experience working with a true “Professional Photographer”. The lucky ones had a wonderful and super talented Wedding Photographer. Even those Walmart, JC Penny, and Sears Portrait Studio Photographers are often little more than minimally trained amateur Photographers pretending to know how to make a good portrait. Don’t get me wrong- these little portrait studios are better than your next-door neighbor with her big expensive looking camera. I’m simply pointing out that your Uncle Fred and Aunt Linda don’t know jack about making a great portrait. Great Photography is all about EXPERIENCE. It’s not about whether your Photographer is a male or a female and surely not about giving you a photo disk with “all” your photos.
Our clients come to us because we make them comfortable, treat them with kindness, with respect, and above all we create and capture them looking their very best !!! Yes that means we spend a lot of time planning your photo session and then clicking hundreds of photos in dozens of poses with all kinds of expressions. Our photo sessions are 3-5 hours long and we make them an “experience”. You will have fun because we help you in each step from wardrobe selections, makeup and hair styling to posing and so much more – plus we retouch to perfection all of our print products.
